“Scientific Constructivism”
Let’s not throw out the baby with the bath.
“Constructivism” as applied in education should NOT be the opposite of “content”.
Take constructivism as a hypothesis that coherently explains a body of behavioral data.
As physicists
- we can describe motion without being hamstrung by Zeno’s paradox
- we can calculate the quantum properties of matter without being destroyed by Schrödinger’s cat.
