The UW Tutorial Model (N = 20-30)
Recitations are replaced by a 1-hour group-learning activity.
Tutorials have a number of critical elements:
- pretest
- facilitator training session
- tutorial with worksheets and Socratic facilitators
- worksheets are research based
- tutorial homework
- exams have a tutorial question
Lectures (and labs) unchanged.
